What you do with God’s Word

Holds the Key to Your Miracle

James 1:22:  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 2:17,20,22,23: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Faith acts like it’s got what God has promised. In praying the prayer of faith, you want to believe that you have received what you just asked God for.

Jesus said in Mark 11:23,24:  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

· One way is by speaking the faith decree to a problem in your life in Jesus’ Name, and tell it to be gone.

· An example of the prayer of faith is praying to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Romans 10:9,10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  If you or someone else wants to receive Jesus as your/their Lord, and you’ve read Romans 10:9,10, you’re going to want to believe that you have received salvation once you’ve prayed the prayer to receive Jesus as your Lord, or once you’ve confessed that Jesus is your Lord.

And, you receive every other blessing that way, being just as dogmatic as you are about salvation and that Jesus is your Lord, and that there is no other way to heaven except through Jesus Christ and Him only, for Jesus said in John 3:16:  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 10:10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 14:6: ...I am the way,  the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

· Just as confident as you are that Jesus is your Lord, you can be that confident that bold, and that single-minded with 3 John 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

· And, just as confident as you are that Jesus is your Lord, you want to be that confident that you are financially prosperous, and that you are physically healed.

One of the reasons we have to put time in the Word every day and read healing and prosperity scriptures is that we are building up confidence in our heart that we are what the Word says we are.

You and I live in a world full of doubt and unbelief which the devil uses to try to persuade us that we can’t live a financially prosperous life.  He also uses doubt and unbelief to try and rob us of our divine health and healing. That is why we have to do all this work to counteract the doubt and unbelief that the devil confronts us with. Not only does the devil want to rob us of our prosperity and divine health, there are a lot of people in the world who would like to take our prosperity away from us.  There are also many Christians and preachers who try to guilt trip us and make us feel bad for even wanting to prosper and have good health.

If you’re sick, and want to get healed, get into the Word and read the healing scripture sheet about 12 times a day to yourself out loud.  Do it until you become fully persuaded that you are healed even though you have no physical indication that you are healed, but you know in your spirit that you are healed because the Word says you are.

What you are endeavoring to do by reading healing scriptures constantly is to eradicate all doubt and unbelief that says you’re not healed.  The same is true with financial prosperity, salvation of loved ones - God promised your whole household will be saved (Acts 16:31). The devil will try to persuade you that they’ll never be born again!  But you can cast down those thoughts that the devil brings to your mind by quoting scriptures that promise you whatever you’re trying to believe God for.  Stay with the Word and keep speaking the Word.  Never give up saying what the Word says about whatever you’re believing God for.

If you want to prosper financially, tithe every dollar that comes to you: give God a dime out of every dollar, and give to the gospel. Then every day, read every financial scripture out loud that you can find in the Bible.  Your salvation, your financial prosperity, your divine health and healing, your deliverance, and every thing that you need in this life to live victoriously has already been bought and paid for by God through Jesus Christ.

Right Now

2 Corinthians 5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

You are already the righteousness of God in Christ right now.  And you will never become more righteous than you are right now.  Even when you go to heaven, you still won’t be more righteous than you are right now.  Right now, you are an heir of God, a joint heir of Christ Jesus, and an heir of all of Abraham’s blessing.  None of the blessings that Jesus purchased for you that I just mentioned “kicks in” or activates after you get to heaven,  because your inheritance is for right now.

Jesus died, and when He died, you became an heir to all the inheritance that He purchased for you.  He left you in His will.  How many Christians do you know that wish they had wealthy relatives who would leave them in their will?  If you're born again, you are named an heir in the greatest will known to mankind.  You have a New  Covenant. Jesus has been resurrected from the dead, and He watches out over that covenant, and He confirms it.

Mark 16:20: And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

He bought your New Covenant with His blood.  He died for you to have it, so you should not be looking forward to winning the lottery, nor should you be wishing or hoping that you are going to strike it rich someday because you’ve already got it now.  But you are going to have to act like you’ve got your financial prosperity now; you’ve got to talk and act like you’ve got it now.  You’ve got to persuade yourself you've got it now. This is why you stay in the Word day and night.  That is how you build up your faith and your confidence: by feeding them every day on God’s Word.  Don’t let a day go by that you haven’t read God’s promises of what belongs to you in Christ Jesus.

Don’t allow yourself to become a slacker with the Word of God.  Don’t read the Bible every day to impress God or to get Him to do something for you or try to get God to heal you with the misconception that maybe if you pray long enough, you’ll get healed, or if you promise God that you’ll never sin again, you’ll get healed.  You are already healed because the Word says you are.

1 Peter 2:24: ...by whose stripes ye were healed.

Matthew 8:17: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Take these two scriptures and keep saying that you’re healed. Say them ten thousand times a day, but just keep saying you’re healed.  Act like you’re healed.  Don’t act like you're sick. Do not tell people how you feel. If they ask you how you’re doing, say:  “According to the Word of God, I'm healed.” Say it straight faced with the utmost confidence.  And this is important: you don’t say it from your head; you say it from your heart.  You can tell when someone is talking from their head or from their heart. Some people make flippant, insincere faith confessions and you know it’s coming from their head.  But there are those precious few, that when they talk, you know they believe it, because it is coming from their heart.

Many Christians mentally agree that they believe God’s Word, but they don't have it in their heart.  If you don't have God’s Word in your heart (John 15:7), you will fail to get what you need to receive from God.  If your daily routine does not include time in the Word, you’d better take some drastic measures and change you lifestyle,    because Jesus told you that Satan is coming to steal, kill and destroy. And the only way you are going to be able to stop Satan is by speaking God’s Word to him in Jesus’ Name, You’re told by God to resist the devil.

Matthew 4:1-11: Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written,  He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Matthew 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force

Matthew 12:29: Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

Matthew 16:19: And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 18:18: Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mark 16:17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Luke 10:19: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:8,9: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are   accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

1 John 4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Revelation 12:11: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

These scriptures should thrill and excite you because they are your answer for living a victorious life in this world.  Faith building scriptures and authority verses either thrill a believer or they make them angry! The people who are thrilled are those who look for a way to get out of their problem.  The Christians who get angry are not looking for a way out of their problem, because they want to blame God for it.  Aside from God working in this world, we’ve also got Satan working in this world, so you want to keep yourself built up spiritually.  That is how you will be able to stop Satan.  God is not going to be the one to stop him; you’re going to have to do that.

Don’t blame God for what happened to you if it has to do with stealing, killing or destroying. Blame yourself and the devil.  Blame yourself for not stopping Satan from afflicting you, and blame Satan for what he did to you. Jesus Christ bore your chastisement; He’s already taken the sins of the world, past, present and future (2 Cor. 5:17-21). God isn’t the one who’s destroying people; it’s Satan.  As a believer, you want to arm yourself with God’s Word so the devil can’t do anything to you.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:10-18

Get built up in God’s Word.  Keep speaking God’s Word, keep making faith confessions, keep acting like you’ve got what you believe you've received, and keep your faith in action by acting on God’s Word. Act like you've got whatever you are believing God for.

The ten lepers acted on God’s world in Luke 17:11-19, and they got healed of leprosy:  And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

A woman that had been bleeding for 12 years put her faith in action and believed God for her healing and got healed of a blood disease in Mark 5:25-34: And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

This woman had spent all her money on many physicians, and was never better, but got worse. She got healed because she acted in faith. Every one who did what Jesus said to do got healed.  There’s not one case in the Bible that God told someone to do something, and they did it without getting healed.  But we do have many instances of people who did not do what God told them to do, and they were not healed.

One example is Mark 6:1-6: And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him. And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary,  the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.  But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

The key to receiving a miracle from God is John 2:5: His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it What did God tell you to do?  I can tell you one thing He told all of us to do:  stay in the Word! You can’t even walk in love if you don’t stay in the Word. The key is found in Proverbs 4:20-22: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

I want to encourage you to put time in God’s Word every day.  Read His promises every day and meditate on them day and night.  Get your spirit man built up so that you’re fully persuaded that you are financially prosperous and that you are physically healthy.  It’s your responsibility as a believer to receive what you need from God.  Don’t waste even one day neglecting time in God’s Word.  And whatever God says to do, do it.

God bless,

Pastor Jesse Rich

 Divine Healing through Confession

God wants you healed and He wants you to have good health. God does not want you sick, and He doesn't want you to suffer with pain and disease. How do I know this? Because He said so! (Isaiah 53:4,5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, Galatians 3:13,14 and 3 John 2)

Jesus bore your sicknesses, diseases and pains when He hung on the cross, just as He took your sins. ...by His stripes, you were healed (1 Peter 2:24).  Your healing has already been purchased by God through Jesus Christ. So, you're not trying to get healed, God is not going to heal you someday, you are already healed, because the Word says you are.  By you confessing God's Word, it's going to build up your faith and confidence in believing God to receive your healing and to live in divine health.  You want to get to the place that you have more faith in the healing and God's Word than you do in sickness.

I believe that one of the most important things that each believer needs to know is how to receive divine healing from the Lord and how to live in good health. To receive divine healing from the Lord, we must first know if it is God's will to heal us. Because of our religious upbringings, many of us have been taught that God doesn't always heal: either He puts sickness on us to teach us something, or He gets glory out of our being sick, or even that healing has passed away.

But according to the scriptures, healing comes from God and sickness and disease come from Satan. God plainly shows us in His Word that He's the Great Physician and Satan is the afflicter:

Exodus 15:26 : ...FOR I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH THEE.

Job 2:7:So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

John 10:10 : The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Luke 13:16 : And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Acts 10:38:How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

1Corinthians 5:5 :To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

In order for us to receive and keep our healing, we have to know for sure in our hearts that God wants us to be healed. Matthew 8:17 and 1 Peter 2:24 say that Jesus, ...HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES, AND BARE OUR SICKNESSES ...BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.

We know from these verses that Jesus bore our sicknesses, as well as our sins and iniquities when He went to the cross. As it says in, 3 John 2, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Just from these verses, we can emphatically know that God wants us to be healed and He wants us to have good health.

There are many scriptural ways we can receive divine healing from the Lord, such as laying hands on the sick in the Name of Jesus (Mark 16:17-18), the gifts of healing in manifestation (1Corinthians 12:9), through communion (1Corinthians 11:23-31), anointing with oil in the Name of the Lord (James 5:14-15), confessing our faults one to another (James 5:16) the prayer of agreement (Matthew 18:19) and the prayer of faith (Mark 11:24). God honors all of these methods because they are scriptural.

I believe that one of the best ways to receive divine healing is to know from the Word of God that healing belongs to us as believers and that we have been redeemed from the curse of sickness, disease and pain. By taking verses of scripture that promise healing and confessing and meditating on these verses day and night, God's healing power and good health will always manifest in a believer's life if they will follow the instructions that God set in His Word.

Proverbs 4:20-22: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  In my Bible, the cross reference says, MEDICINE TO OUR FLESH.

If we will take enough of God's Word long enough, it will heal anything!

Proverbs 18:14 AMP says, The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?

The reason we want to meditate on God's Word day and night and confess healing scriptures every day is because we are building our spiritman up on God's Word and becoming strong.

We're not to let the word depart from our mouth as the Lord said in, Joshua 1:8, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that you mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

And, Jesus said in Mark 11:23,

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."

Once we find out that healing belongs to us in Christ Jesus, we need to begin to apply the Word of God in our lives. God works in our lives according to our faith as Jesus said in Matthew 8:13, ...Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.

Matthew 9:29 :...According to your faith be it unto you.

Matthew 15:28 :...O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.

Mark 5:34 :...Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

When I first found out about divine healing in the Bible, I took healing scriptures and wrote them out on index cards. I kept quoting out loud and meditating on those verses day and night, just as God said to do in Joshua 1:8. I would say numerous times, By His stripes I was healed.

By doing this, I was renewing my mind to the Word and building my spirit man up on the Word of God. At the same time, I was resisting the devil and his physical attacks. So when Satan would try to put sickness on my body, I would say, "Satan, it is written that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law and by His stripes I was healed. Therefore, I refuse any sickness or disease from you in Jesus' Name."

Speaking the written Word of God to symptoms of sickness, disease, pain, depression and any negative thoughts and feelings is the number-one way to resist the devil and to receive divine healing from God. In Matthew 8:8, the centurion said to Jesus, ...but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

In verses 10 and 13, Jesus says, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.... Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. Verse 13 continues, And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Jesus calls speaking the written Word, 'great faith.' Great faith is bold faith and it takes all that God has promised us in His Word (Matthew 11:12; Matthew 12:29). It is never passive; it is always aggressive, and great faith always removes all mountains and receives everything it needs from God.

Each one of us as believers can take our faith, no matter how small it may seem, and develop it into great faith. Constantly speaking verses of scripture that promise you divine healing, meditating on those verses night and day, acting like you're healed and thanking and praising God that He is the Great Physician develops your faith into great faith.

To assist you in your great faith project, I've listed some healing scriptures and divine healing confessions in this booklet. I want to encourage you to read these healing scriptures out loud every day, as well as make confessions of faith daily. These verses will help build your faith in receiving your healing and good health from the Lord. Remember, God wants you healed and He wants you to have good health, BECAUSE HE SAID SO!

CONFESS YOURSELF TO DIVINE HEALING AND HEALTH:

One scriptural way of receiving divine healing is to confess what God's Word says about your healing. For faith to work, it has to be put into action. You can put your faith into action by confessing what God has said about you (Matthew 8:8 & 12:37; Romans 4:17 & 10:10; Hebrews 4:14 & 10:23).

My Confession:

Father God, I thank You that Your Word says that Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses; by whose stripes I was healed. Christ has redeemed me from every sickness, disease and pain. I remind You, Lord, that You said in 3 John 2, that You wish above all things that I prosper and have good health. I thank You, God, for my healing and good health. It is so good to be redeemed from the curse of sickness.

According to Your Word, every good gift and every perfect gift comes from You. Sickness, disease and pain are not perfect; therefore, they're not from You. Jesus went around doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him. According to the Word of God, healing is good and it comes from God. Sickness is not good; it comes from the devil.

My body is a temple of the Holy Ghost, and Jesus gave me authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. The Name of Jesus is above every name. I refuse to allow any sickness, disease, pain or malfunction in my body, in the Name of Jesus.

If I may be of further assistance in helping you to receive your blessings from the Lord, please forward your prayer requests to my ministry and I will pray for you, agree with you and write you back.

DIVINE HEALING SCRIPTURES

Please meditate on these healing scriptures -- memorize them -- and say them to yourself day and night. This is the way you'll school yourself in divine healing and you will become strong in the area of divine health. Remember, God wishes above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 2).

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.                               Galatians 3:13,14,29

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:2,3

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8:16,17

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Matthew 9:35

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.  Hebrews 13:8

And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.  Matthew 15:30,31

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
